Petrolog 10.2.1 released
Since the initial 10.2.0 release on 4th December, we have added a multitude of small bug fixes and efficiency improvements. This is the result of a using Petrolog 10.2 for a 300 well field study we a currently conducting for a major Middle Eastern NOC.
Details of the updates made are included in the Petrolog 10.2 Release Notes. The main additions and improvements since Petrolog 10.1 include the following:
- Environment: Selective import and merge of previous version User Preferences & Defaults
- Import/Export: Log Digitisation Module completed with stretch/skew corrections and hybrid scale management.
- Discrete Data: The following discrete data types (to further support composite log generation) have now been added:
- Text type with advanced display and formatting options (positioning, alignment, etc)
- Symbol type with advanced display and improved categorised symbol library. Ongoing upgrade to WITSML/Shell 1995 Legend specifications
- Shading type which includes Colours, Lithologies & Lithology Modifiers. Ongoing upgrade to WITSML/Shell 1995 Legend specifications.
- Image type which can include any type of graphic image. - Explorer: Further right click options (including V9 to V10 conversion) and binary/xml/emf editor options.
- Graphics: Plots: All plot components (except for strata) now convert to TVD and changes in ELZ.
- Graphics: Crossplots: Various enhancements including better polygon selection, auto-scaling and log scale definitions.
- Petrophysics: Various enhancements including updated Thomas-Steiber model and External Vclay functionality.
- Multimineral: Added initial Multi-Mineral processing functionality (Mineral Default table).
- Neural Network: Report relative input sensitivities from the training model for each log input
- Cross-Section: Inter-well shading/lithologies and customisable strata defaults selection.
- Cross-Section: Enable use of any common Strata as Depth Datum
- Imagelog: Extensive Stereonets bug fixes and enhancements
- Imagelog: Further processing additions including:
- Generic tool definition and graphical display
- Assymetric & multilinear Shading
- Multiple Dip Sets and Reprocessing options
- Fracture Width Processing. - Imagelog Petrophysics: Further processing additions including:
- Graphical Zone selection, processing and parameters
- Added a "multi-linear" conductivity transform
- Added Sw compensated image resistivity corrections
