Petrolog 10.3 released

Petrolog 10.3 is now available for download, with the following main additions and improvements. A detailed list can be found in the Getting Started Guide.

  • Discrete Data: Extensive discrete data display options to generate Well Composite Logs.
  • Discrete Data: Update Petrolog Lithology and Symbol library to Shell 1995 Legend standards.
  • Plots: Improved plot template editor, discrete data can now be saved/loaded from templates.
  • Plots: Export graphical annotations to well discrete data.
  • Crossplots: CPX crossplots now display special minerals, badhole with alternate symbols.
  • Crossplots: Various improvements to speed and display functionality.
  • Montage Editor: Extensive updates to functionality, now used to edit Petrolog symbol library.
  • Petrophysics: Robert Elphic lithology now supports 2,3 or 4 minerals, added tar hydrocarbon shading option.
  • Multi-mineral: Intial pre-release (processing engine completed), progressive updates to User Interface in 10.4 (Beta) will be released.
  • Neural Network: Multiwell prediction and user selection of Neural Network group/facies output log.
  • Mapview: Additional contouring options and well selection functionality to support large field studies.
  • Imagelog: Various additions to dip editor/processing and stereonets.
  • Sonic Waveform: Initial pre-release (semblance engine completed), progressive updates of User Interface in 10.4 (Beta) will be released.
