Petrolog 10.4 released
This release includes the following major updates since the 10.3 release in April:
- Environment: Upgraded to .NET V2.0 framework (faster with greater stability), full Microsoft Vista compatibility and a user interface upgrade.
- Environment: Automatic check and notification if an software upgrade is available on the Petrolog website.
- Environment: A 3D coreviewer utility added as a print option for plots.
- Import/Export: LAS-3 import/export added (allowing full selection of well continuous, header, strata and discrete data).
- Discrete Data: Extensive improvements to Discrete Data editor and plot display and wellheader import/edit synchonisation.

- Plots: Extensive Improvements to drag & drop functionality, improved load curve mapping and template editor.
- Plots: Drag and drop of tracks (with all objects in track) within and between plots.
- Crossplots: Correlation coefficients for all regression functions, now supports 16 region/facies flags.
- Crossplots: Full drag & drop of multiwell & strata onto crossplots (as per the Histogram Functionality).
- Multimineral: Multi-mineral processing module initial release (Fully user definable Minerals, Properties, Crossplots and initial Constraint set).

- Petrophysics: Various improvements to recorded log status options, Glauconite/Heavy Mineral handling and updated D-N overlays including Sperry-Sun, Weatherford, Pathfinder, etc.
- Sonic Waveform: Preprocessing and Coherence processing to extract Compressional, Shear (Monopole & Dipole) and Stonely transit times from all common Digital Sonic tools.

- Imagelog: Dip Editor now works with reference to high side of borehole, generic plot templates that work for all tools.
Petrolog 10.5 (with a planned release in October/November 2007) will see an extensive array of improved functionality for many of the current modules. In additional, we will be progressively revamping the Petrolog data model to add features including full group functionality for continuous logs and a common "datum" interface for controlling depth interval/strata selection.
