1) Petrolog Help: If you are having problems using Petrolog you can view the help manual by pressing "F1" within Petrolog. Updates to the help are regularly made and the latest help files (both in chm and pdf formats) are available from the downloads section
You can also view the help documentation on-line from here.
2) For further support, please email us at support@petrolog.net directly. Support is available during our office hours and all queries will receive a response with a solution or workaround within several working days. We are unable to provide support over telephone.
3) To provide a solution to any problems you are having with Petrolog, we need enough information to be able to reproduce the problem here. In your email to CDP, please include as much of the following information as possible
- The version Petrolog that you are using (obtained by selecting Help > About Petrolog from the main menu).
- Any error messages that appear (cut and paste the Petrolog Error message into your email).
- The steps taken to produce the error.
- Any files needed to repeat the process (please do not send large files through email, if needed an ftp account can be setup for large file transfer). The files that need to be sent may include:
a) Input Data Files (eg LAS, LIS, DLIS, etc)
b) Petrolog Data Files (eg .logdata, .wellheader)
